Abstract
The roots of Metaplexis japonica Makino contain a complex glycoside mixture. The alkaline hydrolysate of the crude ester-aglycone mixture showed the presence of sarcostin (I), deacylmetaplexigenin (Ha), deacylcynanchogenin (IVa), utendin (VI), and 3 other new agly cones. The structure of one of these new aglycones, named pergu-larin, was closely related to utendin. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
