Abstract
The theoretical analysis of a metal-fibre polarizer is presented. A specific form of electromagnetic fields of the polarizer is proposed. All important modes of the polarizer are found and their characteristics studied. Numerical calculations appear to be consistent with experimental results presented by other authors. Keywords
