Abstract
Navier’s slip coefficient boundary condition at the channel wall reduces die swell of Newtonian liquid exiting at low Reynolds number, and appears to relieve the stress singularity associated with Stokes’ no‐slip hypothesis, according to a finite element analysis.Keywords
