Abstract
The second and third stage larvae of Agabus serricornis Payk. are described from northern Sweden. Mature larvae can be found in Carex marshes in early July. The larvae differ from most other Agabus spp. by the presence of well developed swimming hairs on tibiae and tarsi. Some notes are given on the larval systematic characters of the genus.
