Abstract
The natural abundance carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum of biotin was recorded using the pulse Fourier transform technique. The chemical shifts of various carbon resonances have been assigned on the basis of the 13C NMR chemical shift theory, multiplicities observed in SFORD spectrum and comparison with structurally related compounds. Keywords
