"An attempt has been made to determine the equilibrium vapor pressure of braucite by studying pressure-volume relations at constant temperature. The results obtained agree closely with those found previously by Kennedy but differ from those found by Roy and Roy. No reasonable explanation of this difference is offered except by the general observation that quenching methods are fundamentally sound only when the quench preserves the phases present under the conditions of the experiment."
