Abstract
A simple and sensitive gas-chromatographic method for the determination of methyloxazepam in small samples of blood or plasma is described. After ethereal extraction the methyloxazepam was converted to its O-trimethylsilyl derivative and then processed gas-chromatographically. The procedure allows routine analysis on blood capillary samples (100–200 μl) containing as little as 5 ng/ml of methyloxazepam without any interferences from endogenous substratesKeywords
