Abstract
A family was studied in which at least 7 members have renal tubular acidosis with nephrocalcinosis. Twenty-five individuals in 4 generations were studied; the pertinent clinical, laboratory and genetic data are presented. These data taken together with those from other reports in the literature strongly suggest that the underlying defect in this disorder is governed by an autosomal dominant gene. Keywords
