Abstract
This article describes a survey that was undertaken to determine the extent and types of options available for women who wish to labour and/or give birth in water, to estimate the number of women who laboured and/or gave birth in water in 1992 and 1993 and to assess the extent of any reported problems following labour and/or birth in water for mothers, babies, and midwives.Keywords
