MYELOGRAPHY IN ACUTE CERVICAL INJURIES

Abstract
Myelographic evaluation of the cervical spinal canal has been helpful in making a more rational plan of management in the acute stage of spinal cord injury. Use of skull tongs, a circular bed, and a lateral cervical spinal puncture makes the procedure safer and less cumbersome than myelography by the lumbar route.
