Abstract
The linear Zeeman effect of the ground state of has been studied using the atomic beam magnetic resonance method at magnetic fields up to 850 gauss. The Cr atoms were detected by means of an electronbombardment type ionizer. Using the known factors for the ground states of and , the factor of the ground state of neutral Cr was determined to be .
