Abstract
The N,N-dimethylcarbamates of 3-quinuclidinol, 1-methyl-3-piperidinol, and 1-methyl-4-piperidinol have been prepared and found to be weak inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase. The acetates of the above alcohols were also prepared and found to be moderately good substrates for this enzyme. Keywords
