Abstract
An experimental study has been made of the effect of air bubble agitation in vat or tank, on electrodeposition processes with measurements of the main experimental parameters. The influence of agitation has been considered in terms of the enhancement of mass transfer as indicated by deposition rates or cathodic currents produced and the uniformity of agitation as measured by variations of deposit thickness over large jigged cathode panels. Further the influence of increased electrolyte resistance has also been considered. Keywords
