Indexing grapevine clones in the Fruit Variety Foundation of Australia for virus and virus-like diseases

Abstract
Using a wide range of indicators, 94 grapevine clones held in the national repository at Irymple, Victoria, were indexed for the important virus and virus-like diseases of grapevine during 1974 to 1979. Results showed that 12 clones were infected with leafroll, 53 with yellow speckle and 4 with fleck. The clones appeared to be free from asteroid mosaic, corky bark, legno riccio, flavescence doree, fanleaf and other soil-borne virus diseases.
