Abstract
CAMAC is used extensively in the laboratory for data acquisition purposes in conjunction with small computers. The use of CAMAC has been further extended into the area of peripheral interfacing, with the advantages both in convenience and cost. This development has made possible, for the first time, standardization of peripherals and interfaces while allowing advantage to be taken of new mini-computer developments. Keywords
