Abstract
A Boltzmann equation is derived for electron and phonon transport in bounded systems, which is more reliable than the relaxation time approximate version of the transport equation. The corresponding cros‐sections have non‐azimuthal symmetry. This requires basically new solution techniques which will also be discussed. Keywords
