Abstract
The authors examine the dependence of the scatter fraction on source depth, the energy window width and the emitted photon energy, Monte Carlo calculations are presented of scatter fractions for a line source of activity at eleven depths in a water-filled cylinder acquired in seven energy window widths for each of five primary photon energies corresponding to radionuclides commonly used in nuclear medicine studies. Keywords
