Abstract
The belief that high initiating structure-high consideration leadership combinations are superior was investigated. Following Sir William of Occam's notion of parsimony (Occam's razor), simpler single variable leadership models were also tested. In many samples, simpler predictive models involving structure only or consideration only were found to predict satisfaction as well as the more complex models.
