Abstract

Germination of onion pollen and sugar-beet pollen was not affected by a dust containing 5% DDT and 95% pyrophyllite. S dust slowed or inhibited germination of sugar-beet pollen in the field, but on an agar medium the rate and energy of germination were not greatly affected. Lethane did not adversely affect germination of onion pollen in the field or on an agar medium.
