Abstract

Absence of the right superior vena cava with persistence of the left superior vena cava [in humans] is an uncommon cardiac malformation. Patients (2) with this anomaly are presented, and the importance of recognizing this condition is emphasized. Although associated with other cardiac malformations, there is no characteristic type.
