Abstract
In a retrospective analysis covering a 14 yr period (1962-1975) the annual incidence of primary intracranial neoplasms in an isolated population of about 40,000 (the Faroese) was 9.9 in 100,000. Of the 52 patients with intracranial neoplasms, 20 were alive while 32 had died before the study was closed on Dec. 31, 1979. Eighteen of the 34 patients with supratentorial tumors and 1 patient with acoustic neurinoma had epilepsy. Keywords
