Abstract
The relations of the genera Torynifer Hall and Clarke, Phricodothyris George, and Kitakamithyris Minato are discussed, and the diagnosis of Phricodothyris emended. The phricodothyrid species of New South Wales all bear dental lamellae and a median septum in the pedicle valve. Four new species from three horizons within the Carboniferous are described. Keywords
