Abstract
A simplified technique of serum-neutralization test for IB is described. It consists of determining the neutralization effect of the serum to be tested on a dilution of a standard reference virus containing 100 EID50 per 0.1ml. Only 4 eggs are necessary for each serum. This technique saves both materials and time. For epizootiological surveys it allows the laboratory to perform the tests more quickly with decreased expenses for each, and permits a rapid examination of many samples of sera. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
