A modulo-four multiplier circuit for use in residue number system non-recursive digital filters

Abstract
Residue number system (RNS) non-rucursive digital filters offer certain speed advantages over their binary counterparts due to the parallel nature of RNS computation. A new modulo-four multiplier circuit designed for use in RNS non-recursive digital filters is presented and its performance discussed. This multiplier is input-output compatible with current-mode quaternary threshold logic modulo-four adders and latches previously developed.
