Abstract
We report evidence for soliton formation in a Ti:sapphire-laser-pumped femtosecond optical parametric oscillator. Appropriate conditions of dispersion are discussed, and temporal and spectral measurements of the output pulses are presented. Quantitative agreement with existing theory is implied. Keywords
