Abstract
The geometric-optics inverse-scattering method of Keller and Lewis is described. This method, which applies to smooth conducting convex bodies of revolution, requires a knowledge of the monostatic radar cross section at all aspects. The method is applied to a number of simple axisymmetric bodies for which exact cross-section results are available. Results are designed to demonstrate the bounds on size and shape which can be determined.
