Abstract
The introduction of many times the amt. of estrogens that is contained in the fowl''s body is far below the amt. of the pure estrogens which has to be injected in order to change blood Ca level. The raising of the blood Ca by ovarian hormones has not been proved as the sole factor, or even the main factor in such a phenomenon, in units, normally present in an animal.
