Interspike Time Distribution in Noise Driven Excitable Systems

Abstract
We generate an observable which relates the interspike time statistics in a noise driven excitable system with its phase space global properties. Experimental results from a semiconductor laser with optical feedback are analyzed within this framework.Keywords
