Intensity of conditioned stimulus and rate of conditioning.

Abstract

The eyelid response was conditioned, using a modification of Loucks'' capacitance change recorder. 10 subjects in each of 7 different groups were conditioned to different intensities of the conditioned stimulus. The amount of conditioning in 50 paired presentations was a constant irrespective of the intensity of the conditioned stimulus. The theoretical implications of the results are discussed.
