Abstract
Absorptive parts in QCD-induced charmless decays allow for a new mechanism of violation. Existing discussions in the literature do not satisfy the theorem. Solving the problem, we find that, inclusively, a strong cancellation remains between the mode rate asymmetries and the purely loop-induced modes. Exclusively, the asymmetries of purely loop-induced modes (such as ) are unaffected, but those related to (such as ) change sign. The discussion for modes is similar.
