Abstract
This article examines polydisciplinary groups in the human services. A polydisciplinary group is one in which there is a mix of disciplines or professions. Four types of polydisciplinary groups are identified and described; these are multidisciplinary, pluridisciplinary, cross-disciplinary, and interdisciplinary groups. Various problems in the use of these groups are then discussed, followed by an exploration of possible solutions. Keywords
