Abstract
Recently several articles have appeared in the literature concerning the association of irradiation with neoplasia in children and adolescents. Most of the articles are concerned with the association between carcinoma of the thyroid or leukemia, and previous irradiation of the thymus or benign lesions of the head and neck. The literature is reviewed, general concepts of treatment and analysis of results are discussed. Keywords
