Abstract
In Ni-Fe/Cu multilayers with oscillatory magnetoresistance changes, oscillation of preferred orientation depending on Cu thickness has been observed. The preferred orientation oscillates between and . The period of the oscillation agrees with that for the oscillation of magnetoresistance ratio. When the multilayers have preferred orientations, they show high magnetoresistance ratios. Keywords
