Abstract
The question of the occurrence of ozone in the atmosphere has been for a long time a subject of much speculation, on account of the important bearing it has, both from physical and chemical considerations, in dealing with many atmospheric phenomena. Many workers have shown the marked absorption effects that small quantities of ozone have on ultra-violet light.* The view has also been put forward that this gas plays an important part in contributing to the blue colour of the sky. Keywords
