Abstract
Measurements of neutron multiplicity distributions of 1.94 to 5.0 GeV/ proton-, antiproton-, pion-, kaon-, and deuteron-induced spallation reactions on thin (few mm thick) and thick (35–40 cm thick) targets are presented. The 4 neutron detector employed for the first time to measure neutron multiplicity distributions from thick targets is described. Results for thin and thick targets are compared with intra- and internuclear cascade model calculations.
