Abstract
Water-soluble α-galactosyl-chitosan conjugates were prepared by reductive amination of p-formylphenyl β-melibioside on chitosan in good yield. Strong binding with phytohemagglutinin was demonstrated using Griffonia simplicifolia. Keywords
