Abstract
We calculated the three relevant tensor components of the third‐order electric susceptibilities of conjugated hydrocarbon chains in order to determine the space fixed third‐order electric susceptibilities χxxxx–. We found that the space fixed susceptibility χxxxx differs significantly from the molecular parameter χXXXX.Keywords
