Abstract
Gangrene of the penis is rare but several factors acting simultaneously may produce this condition. These factors include local infection, pressure dressing, presence of a urethral catheter, edema and ischemia of the corpus cavernosum. We report a case of iatrogenic gangrene of the penis following implantation of a Scott inflatable penile prosthesis, and all of the aforementioned factors were present. Keywords
