Abstract
N-4,4-Dimethyl-2,6-dioxocyclohexylidenemethyl (Dcm) amino acids are readily prepared and the protecting group can be removed with hydrazine at room temperature; their potential in solid phase peptide synthesis is illustrated.Keywords
