Abstract

Treatment of CoCl₂ with Li(C₂R₂P₃)(R = Bu^t) in 1,2-dimethoxyethane yields the complex [Co(η⁵-C₂R₂P₃)(η⁴-C₂R₂HP₃)] containing a ligated 1,2,4-triphosphacyclopenta-1,3-diene ring system.
