Abstract
The changes of grafting efficiency of atactic polypropylene in grafting with methyl methaerylate and styrene, initiated by low molecular weight peroxides and peroxides of polypropylene, have been investigated. The assumption that the grafting efficiency of atactic polypropylene increases with an increase in temperature, monomer concentration in the initial mixture, and with the increase of molecular weight of the initial polymer was confirmed. It was also found that to reach high grafting efficiency of the basic polymer, it is necessary to select a reaction medium with maximum compatibility of the components of the system. The average number of grafted branches was determined by means of grafting efficiency of the polymer and by using Poisson's equation of distribution probability of this phenomenon. Keywords
