Abstract
The thermoluminescent spectra of synthetic CaF2 single crystals irradiated with γ-rays were investigated. Emission peaks were observed at 382, 416, 438, 481, 549, 577, 647 and 838 mµ. Wavelengths of these peaks did not vary with the increase of the temperatures from room temperature up to 700°K. Glow curves for spectral emission peaks were recorded throughout the temperature range between 300°K and 700°K. The thermal activation energies in the spectral glow were not constant. The shapes of the glow curves indicated that thermoluminescence of the emissions at 382, 416, 438, 481, 549 and 577 mµ occurred with bimolecular process. Keywords
