Abstract
Deposition of carbon atoms on a cathode in a DC arc discharge to produce fullerenes is reduced by JxB force of a magnetic field in an arc flame. By this modification, more effective synthesis of fullerenes and easier control of discharge conditions are achieved.Keywords
