Abstract
Procedures, reliabilities and normal values (100 medical studients) are presented for voluntary ventilation capacity, vital capacity, resting ventilation and oxygen consumption, resting ventilatory reserve, capacity ratio, and ventilation equivalent for oxygen. A scheme is presented for the systematic use of these ventilatory function tests in the analysis of clinical disturbances in ventilatory function in terms of their physiological nature, degree, and causes. Keywords
