Abstract
A statistically significant disparity is noted in systemic side-reactions following intra-arterial administration of contrast medium in a group of patients who experienced side-effects after the intravenous administration. The lung is suggested as the effector organ causing these systemic side-reactions to intra-arterial injection into the ascending aorta vs. all other intra-arterial injection sites supports this hypothesis. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
