Abstract
The authors show that in the A1and A2phases the spin pairing axis f cannot be considered as an independent hydrodynamic variable as has often been done previously. New equations are presented, where from the outset f is taken to be parallel to the magnetisation M. This is of special relevance for the transverse dynamics which, unfortunately, seems to be essentially governed by normal and dissipative processes. Some interesting physical points concerning the longitudinal dynamics are re-examined in some detail, including the spin-wave aspect of fourth and second sound, as well as the static magnetic fountain effect. Keywords
