Abstract
Epidemic hemorrhagic fever is a disease characterized by phases of sequential fever, hypotension, oliguria, and polyuria. This disease represented a major hazard for American soldiers during the Korean War (1950–1953) and is a persistent problem in Asia, the USSR, and northern Europe. Advances in the etiology, epidemiology, and therapy of epidemic hemorrhagic fever are discussed. Keywords
