Abstract
A set of statistical process control filters and the procedures for their employment as filters in a feedback control loop are designed. These filters are similar to the control charts applied to continuous flow processes. The statistical process control filters are evaluated for the quality of the process output given that a particular filter is used and compared to the results that are achieved if conventional filtering devices are used. The performance measure employed is developed within the research. Keywords
