Abstract
Two series of trialkyltin carboxylates containing butyl and cyclohexyl groups on tin, BunCy3‐nSnO2CR (n = 1, 2; R = n‐Pr, Ph, 4‐CIC6H4, 4‐NO2C6H4) have been synthesized and their structures characterized by IR, and 119Sn and 13C NMR spectroscopies. The compounds are five‐coordinate, carboxylate‐bridged polymers when R = n‐Pr, while the other aromatic carboxylates are four coordinate. The compounds were also tested for their fungicidal, insecticidal and acaricidal activities. Keywords
