Abstract
Transmission-line equations are derived for a braidedshield cable by modal analysis. The parameters of the braided shield appear in the coefficients as well as in the source terms of the equations. The source terms also depend on the currents and charges on the outer surface of the shield with all the shield's apertures shortcircuited. Keywords
